Assisting patients at check in and check out with billing and insurance claims, setting appointments, building rapport with patients, some ordering of lens, frame and contact lenses, interaction with other health care, marketing office in community, keeping office stocked with supplies, patient reacll and retention, generating referrals, accounting with quickbooks and other insurance software, maintaining and inputting patient information, improving office policies and patient care procedures, other tasks are included.
Expected hours average 33 hours per week with possible growth into full time over next 12 months if desired.
