I have early stage glaucoma and my first laser treatment was great! Then the Dr got a new machine and IT really caused a lot on pain IN MY eyes. I told him it was painful and cancelled my next laser treatment. MY Dr didn’t want to call only 12 pain pills for me before the surgery but he was very insensitive about doing this. Was I wrong in asking him to do this?

It is sad that there is such a swing against treating pain today. If he won’t work with you look for another doctor. Most people only experience short, minor discomfort so your experience is the exception.
